At Ten Sleep School, I am responsible for providing Special Education educational services to student who qualify under IDEA. IDEA is a Federal Law requiring a free and appropriate education for student with a handicapped condition that are eligible for services. Students who are eligible for services have an IEP (Individual Education Plan) to fit their educational and placement needs.
I teach classes in reading/writing, math, life skills, and study skills. I teach students ranging in grades from K - 12.
A Little About Me…
I graduated from Worland High School. I attend the University of Wyoming and received a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education, and a certificate in Exceptional Children K-12 (Special Education). I received my Masters Degree from Grand Canyon University in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading.
I taught for a year in Arizona at Ball Charter Schools before missing Wyoming’s wide open spaces (and family) and returned to Wyoming. I taught for a year at NWBOCES in Thermopolis before beginning to work in Ten Sleep.
I have two wonderfully, amazing adult children.
