Welcome to my page!  My name is Lorraine Taylor and I'm the Instructional Facilitator for K-12, the Elementary and High School Spanish Facilitator and work with students in K-5 in Math and Reading.

My name is Lorraine Taylor and I was hired as the Instructional Facilitator on Oct. 11, 2011. I am beginning my ninth year for the 2019-2020  school year. I was born in Worland and raised on Broken Back Ranch, seven miles north of Ten Sleep. My father was the late Boyd Mills and my mother is Dahl. My siblings are Terril, Valerie, Lynette, and Tom. I attended Ten Sleep School for 12 years until I graduated. Then I went to college at what was then called Northwest Community College in Powell. I graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree and transferred to Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah where I finished my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

I taught for two years in Byron, WY in the 4th and then 3rd grade. I then went on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the country of Chile where I learned Spanish. Upon my return, I completed a Middle School Certification in Spanish and Social Studies at BYU.  I worked for 12 years in Mesa, Arizona as a third grade teacher and my last year as a kindergarten ESL teacher.

I met and married Mark Taylor, a swimming coach from Florida who was currently coaching for Mesa Aquatics and was a volunteer assistant coach at Arizona State University. I graduated from ASU with a Masters Degree in Linguistics. We were blessed to have two sons. Troy was born in Mesa, Arizona and Zane was born in Reykjavik, Iceland. We lived in Iceland and Denmark for two years where my husband coached a private swim team and the National Teams. We then moved to Houston, Texas where Mark was the Head Swimming and Diving Coach for the University of Houston.  My husband passed away suddenly and this brought Troy, Zane and I back to Wyoming.
